Analytical Chemistry Lab Technician – German, non-GMP vacancy for our Basel based client in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Develop, adapt, qualify or validate and transfer high-quality analytical methods as per project requirements.
• Perform assigned analytical experiments in the lab according to GMP, HSE regulations and risk assessments.
• Support the project responsible Analytical Expert by collecting and aggregating analytical data.
• Document experimental work in appropriate form using available tools following good documentation practices.
• Ensure maintenance and usability of laboratory instruments and equipment.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Apprenticeship or MSc in Chemistry or equivalent with 2+ years of experience.
• Technical skills: HPLC-UV, HS/direct-GC, Titration & Karl-Fischer, HPLC-MS.
• Software skills: CDS (ideally Chromeleon), MS Office, electronic lab notebook.
• Ideal previous experience: analytical lab technician in pharma, chemical or food industry. 
• Language skills: English (oral, written) and German (oral).

• Ability to communicate key issues and critical topics in a timely manner.
